FIN Yritysrahoitus Oy is a Finnish loan originator that specializes in financing small and medium sized companies in Finland. The company´s business idea is to service Finnish entrepreneurs on-line with flexible processes, but without the bureaucracy associated with traditional banks.
FIN Yritysrahoitus has also recently started co-operation with the European Investment Fund (EIF) with the purpose of ensuring availability of credit to Finnish small entrepreneurs, a segment that needs additional financing especially in times of weaker economic growth. EIF co-operation covers a part of the potential credit losses of the company thus enabling FIN Yritysrahoitus to issue loans to more small companies in need of liquidity.
There is about 300 000 active companies and entrepreneurs in Finland. Out of these companies 89% employ less than five people. Fin Yritysrahoitus sees these small companies as extremely important for the economy and hopes to support their success with reasonably priced credit, and great service leveraged by technology and data science.
