Income 2022 Results

It’s been a rollercoaster year for Income and the world economy, with numerous challenges and opportunities emerging in the face of rapidly changing markets. As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future, we’re proud to share our 2022 results.

Despite the disruptions caused by Russian Ukrainian war, higher inflation rates, ClickCash’s suspension, and IT issues, our team has remained agile and resilient, adapting to new circumstances and emerging stronger than ever. Let’s take a closer look at how we’ve progressed in the past year and what the future holds for Income.

In 2022 loan originators listed € 35,060,974 worth of loans; out of those, investors have invested € 25,499,383, and € 20,346,332 has already been fulfilled. We have managed to grow the active portfolio to € 7M, an almost 500% increase in a year.

In 2022, 3519 investors joined Income, earning a total of € 472,821 in just interest. The average interest rate on the platform has grown to 13.02% due to our maximum yearly interest rate increase in September.

We started cooperation with five new Loan Originators in 2022. DanaRupiah, Vivus, and ITF Group have already grown their portfolio to over a million on Income.

“The year 2022 was a challenging year for many investment platforms and loan originators globally. Considering the global economic circumstances, we are very happy about the milestones and growth we reached during the year. Our long-term outlook remains positive as we see investor volumes growing and interest in our platform increasing both from loan originators and investors. Looking forward to 2023, we expect easier times ahead. However, we still need to remain agile to navigate the fast-changing economy as we continue on our mission to become the go-to platform for investing in loans,” comments Kimmo Rytkönen, CEO of Income.

In 2023 we are planning to onboard more Loan Originators and will keep working on developing new features for our investors, including a working secondary market for loans.  We are soon getting ready to introduce a new feature called “Early Buyback.” As we saw in 2022, investors need more liquidity and are interested in shorter-term loans. Early Buyback functionality will allow our Loan Originators to set a voluntary buyback date at listing. This way, the loan originators with longer maturity loans can start listing shorter loans, and investors will benefit from shorter maturity and faster liquidity. In addition to “Early Buyback,” we are working on something we call the “yield curve,” where longer maturity loans will reward investors with a higher yield.

In conclusion, 2022 has been a challenging but successful year for Income. Despite facing a variety of economic and internal disruptions, we have managed to grow our active portfolio by over 500% and significantly increased the number of investors on the platform. Overall, we are well-positioned for continued growth and success in the future.

Stay tuned for when we introduce new features, and join us in the growth in 2023!
